Enriching Sites

I am so grateful for these sites / blogs because they have enriched my life in one way or another! ;-)

Enriched my faith:

Couples for Christ - My family would not be where we are today, and who we are today, if not for our Catholic community. We are SO blessed to be part of CFC! (Our website is under construction, but you can check out our FB page if you like!)

Bo Sanchez - I have been a fan of Catholic Filipino lay preacher and author Bo Sanchez since my high school days in Brunei! His blog provides "practical soulfood for successful people." I always feel inspired and blessed after reading his articles!

Kerygma Family - Being a member of this limitless, "border-less" virtual community has blessed me in so many ways. As a member, I receive daily Scripture readings and reflections in my inbox. I always glean something from each message and often share it with others through my Facebook posts and Tweets.

Catholicmom.com - This site has lots of helpful resources for Catholic moms and families ;-)

Women for Faith and Family - I recently discovered this site because of research I had to do for our homeschool. It's a wonderful faith resource for Catholic families.

3-Minute Retreats by Loyola Press - I love doing these retreats! ;-)

Enriched my family life:

Chronicles of A Nursing Mom - especially for my breastfeeding queries! I always refer mommy friends to Jenny's blog for breastfeeding tips and advice. ;-) Her blog has been such a BLESSING to our breastfeeding journey!

Dainty Mom - I met Martine because we homeschool. She is also a relatively new blogger like me, but UNLIKE me, her blog has grown leaps and bounds! ;-) I am so happy for her, and always refer to her blog for inspiring work-at-home mom (WAHM) / home and living tips! (Martine and I also have a lot in common, and I'm so grateful to God for enriching my life through her friendship!)

Nanay Notebook - Blessie, the nanay (mother) behind this blog, is also a Catholic homeschool work-at-home mom. We connect on SO many levels! Her blog is uber-helpful too, and is a good resource for WAHMs, not just for Filipinos! ;-)

The Painter's Wife - I love reading Eli's posts especially about babywearing and breastfeeding!

Mec as Mom - Mec is a fellow breastfeeding advocate and also "sumkinda-works" from home through her blogs. I like how she writes about her family especially her kids. ;-)

Wifely Steps - Toni's blog is chock-full of information for wives, moms and families; and she is really very nice. I got to communicate with her lately because we both blog for Philstar.com's unBLOGGED section every Tuesday for the Family and Parenting category. ;-)

Catholic Homeschoolers' Blogs - This is a compiled list of Catholic homeschoolers, mostly Filipinos. I am learning so much from these parents (who are part of the ROCKERs homeschool group I helped found).

Enriched my financial knowledge:

Jomar Hilario - I first heard about this internet marketing "guru" from Bo Sanchez's site. He gives a lot of good tips on blogging, internet marketing, and working from home on his site, among other things. I was so blessed to have attended a VA seminar conducted by him a while back! (Thank you again, Mama, for my birthday gift! ;-) I learned a lot and I hope to implement the lessons soon!

WIFE.org - The Woman's Institute for Financial Education has great tips and advice, and is totally dedicated to "providing financial education to women in their quest for financial independence."

Christian Personal Finance - This site is truly inspiring and provides money-saving tips and encouraging articles about debt management, budgeting, investing, insurance and earning extra income.
