I am proud to be a Roman Catholic. Although to be honest, I didn't really understand my faith for the most part of my childhood and teenage life, thanks to our Catholic Charismatic community, Couples for Christ, I have learned that being a Christian/Catholic means having a personal relationship with Jesus. One can only do this when one learns to love the Lord, and let Him into your heart, and strive to follow Him in all you do. Develop this relationship with Him through regular prayer, Bible reading and selfless acts of love.
Don't get me wrong though, I am far from being perfect. Let's face it; all of us have sinned/are sinners. Still, like Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta said, "God doesn't call us to be successful, but to be faithful."
